The Document Management system is a central storage area on a private company Website for all company forms, memos, contact lists, sales literature, schedules, task lists, and other documents. Because it is online, it is always up-to-date. Employees always possess the most current version of every necessary document whether they are on-site or traveling. For example, an employee will be able to immediately open the Document Manager to get the latest version of the expense reimbursement form, fill it out, and email it to the appropriate person in the accounting department for processing. Because the forms are automatically saved in the system, the need for printing, filing, and photocopying is eliminated. Managers may control access to each document category by establishing individual security settings for each employee user.
